PANACEA CONDO TULUM

Best value for money I've found anywhere, hands down, and I have done some fair budget travelling. Visited in the off-season as a couple. Rented the apartment with private pool. Gorgeous. The common area is a lovely tropical garden with a beautiful pool, perfect for relaxing, very peaceful. The apartment was spacious, with an enormous bed and good air con for escaping the heat. The location is also excellent - just one block away from the main street in la Veleta, with cafes and restaurants aplenty. So, you get a piece of tranquility just a stone's throw from the amenities. There is also a good amount of parking both in front and to the side of the building if you are renting a car (would recommend). Check in/out instructions were very clear, with good communication from the hosts. All in all, a great experience. Highly recommend if you're not wanting to fork out for the hotel zone along the beach.

Great experience! Don’t sleep on this one. You’re next to some outstanding restaurants and you don’t have to be on the coast line surrounded by the LA version of Tulum.

I had the best experience here. I stayed 4 nights at a very very good last minute rate. Room was clean and had everything I could need as a low maintenance traveler. I also got the impression that if I did need anything, the staff were more than happy to help. I communicated with them via WhatsApp throughout my stay to ask basic questions about transportation, late check out, etc and they were so friendly and helpful. This is also where they sent me all my details for check-in. The common areas were great, pool and gym. It was mostly quiet while I was there Mon-Thurs. There is also a shower and washroom around the pool to use. It also looked like they had bikes to rent, although I didn't use them. Their excellent service encouraged me even more to follow their recommendations to conserve electricity, water, etc. as I felt like a guest in their home and wanted to respect it. The location was also very good for me. A little off the side of the busy streets keeping things a little quieter. But still within walking distance to Tulum Centro, around 20-30 min walk and just a couple blocks down from the main street in La Veleta. So many great restaurants and cafes nearby. I felt safe walking around thos area and all of La Veleta, although some areas are a little dark. The only lie that I see in these reviews, is that Fifi is friendly I love cats and honestly, this was motivation for me coming here too. However, she is a little sassy. Maybe she is getting older. Give her some gentle love, but when she starts to flick her tail, take that as a sign she has had enough! If I come back to Tulum, I will highly consider staying here again. Muchas gracias!

My new favorite to stay when I’m in Tulum. But the best part of the trip was FiFi the cat. She’s super friendly and will follow you to the room lol

Our apartment was gorgeous. Modern, big, excellent wifi, a/c, spacious bathroom, huge balcony and king size bed. Swimming pool was clean and the fact that is deep is a nice touch. What let it down was that we didn’t received check in instructions, the endless number of ants in the kitchen, the kitchen water tap was in really bad condition and there was no amenities!!! No coffee, sugar, oil, tea absolutely nothing! We got there pretty late and had to adventure out to buy essentials. The gym is nice to have but everything was dated and dirty looking. Treadmill didn’t work. Good value for money but Panacea can do so much better.

BEST value (book direct) and amazing flats. The grey/concrete buildings are new with great flats, spacious, modern design, terrace and th inner courtyard is LOVELY jungle pool vibe. We loved it and after trying a few hotels or airbnbs in Tulum this is the BEST one! Also great location close to the Main Street. Coffee shop around the corner is super cute . Will come back.

Great spot, near the hotels area of tulum. About 30 mins walk from the center area. They rent bikes for about 100 pesos a day if you need to go around. The pool is gorgeous, they are quick to respond when you text them on whats app. I stayed for 9 nights mid march in the king suite bedroom. Staff is very friendly. Had great experience over all!

Everything about the hotel was great — except for one major issue: they recommended a scooter rental company called “Moving Tulum”, which ended up scamming us out of $600 USD by falsely claiming we had damaged their scooter. We had taken videos to prove the condition was unchanged, but they threatened to withhold our passport just two hours before our flight unless we paid. It was extortion, plain and simple. I’m not saying the hotel itself is bad — but it’s extremely concerning that they choose to work with such a dangerous and dishonest company. Do not rent scooters through this hotel unless they change providers. You’re putting yourself at serious risk.
